This eco friendly hard drive operates with 70 percent of it developed from recyclable materials. But don’t let the price of this hard drive turn you away instantly because Seagate reports that this baby runs on a 44% reduction in power then its predecessors. 44% means they will pay for the extra bucks you spent on it in 6 to 12 months.

In addition to the 44% reduction in power the Drives seem to run under a significantly cooler temperature which all in all means less wear and tare on the Hardware and a longer life of storing your data and saving you precious energy you can use on your huge TV we know you watch every night.

The Low powered eco friendly Seagate barracuda Hard drive comes in the sizes of 1TB 1.5TB and 2TB and has been said to run whisper quiet.
