August 6th, 2009

verizon-lg-env-touch-phone-1Thinking about getting the new Lg EnV Touch mobile phone? Or Upgrading from your old Voyager touch screen mobile phone? The Lg EnV not only Features a camera that is 1.2 mp greater than that of the voyagers making the pictures crisp.  Did i say crisp? The Env Touch Mobile Phone Features not only one but two three inch displays packing up to 1.6 million colors portraying a crystal clear image. The whole home screen acts as more of a desktop than the voyager allowing you to put icons and verizon-lg-env-touch-phone-21clock and calender widgets on it. The only thing i found was really weird is the switch on the QWERTY keyboard with the space bar. I’m sorry to say my mobile frenzied friends they abandoned the double space bars and i spent the first 2 weeks constantly ending up with periods between my words because they changed it to one in the middle.

LG enV Touch Review

July 1st, 2009

The new 3 inch touchscreen messaging maniac from LG, the enV Touch has finally arrived. I was really pleased to see that they added a flash to the camera upgrading it from the original LG Voyager. I know the flash doesn’t do anything really for the pictures but it works perfectly as a flashlight and looking in the dark. The LG enV Touch media player plays during other applications and browsing, making it an absolute 1 up in my book from my previous LG Voyager. Compatible with Micro SD cards up to 16 GB you can add a bunch of application and files to your enV Touch. The phone also has a file reader to open Microsoft Word files along with PDF’s as well.

In addition, the camera on the phone has been improved from a 2.0 megapixel to a higher 3.2 megapixel which makes your images pop out at you off the brilliant 800×460 3 inch touch screen.

Along with a new sliding lock feature like that of the iPhone or iPod touch makes it less likely to make a incidental call with the touchscreen, rather than the touchscreen old lock icon.

The music player on the LG enV touch also has 6 different EQ settings and powered by Dolby Mobile and a standard size headphone jack so you can easily plug in any regular headphones you would normally use for your Microsoft Zune or Apple iPod Touch.

June 30th, 2009

The new so called iPhone killer, the Samsung Omnia i910 is one of the latest new touchscreen phones to hit the market. Samsung Omnia i910First off, the Omnia i910 offers a huge display screen that is about 2.24 by 4.4 inches. The Samsung’ Omnia i910 comes with an onboared accelerometer, which allows the mobile phone to pick up your every move, tilt and turn. The connectivity for the Omnia is definately up to date, offering Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi, GPS and EV-DO Rev technology. The Samsung Omnia is sure to keep you surfing the web and with a 5.0 megapixel camera which is pretty impressive when comapred to other smartphones out there.

To conclude this review of the Samsung Omnia, I would say this phone is a great buy, considering it is starting at $99.00. Below I have provided a review video of the Samsing Omnia:

Introducing the new era of Palm Pilots. Its the Palm Pre from Sprint. This new phone from Palm comes with a 3.1 inch touchscreen that provides beautiful picture at it’s 320 x 480 Resolution and 24 bit color display. The Palm Pre has the same touch screens that were used in the Apple I phone and the G1 AKA Google phone from T-Mobile.

The 3.1 megapixel camera that the Palm Pre comes with, has a completely lag free shutter, so you can snap those quick pictures and not miss those special moments. Oh yeah, did i mention the built-in LED flash?

The Palm Pre has an internal antenna enabeling it to have 802.11b/g Wireless LAN capabilities. This makes the phone great for on the go wifi access.
