However, with SunCats new revolutionary idea brings the charger to the battery. Once your batteries are dead with SunCat solar rechargable battery you may just toss it onto any window cill for recharging and yes your completely off the power grid.

Even though the solar rechargable batteries are not completely what you would call efficient, they are being developed further and constantly improved, since they are in the prototype stage. The newer designs are hoping to have built-in capacitors and electronics to make the charging process more efficient.

Thanks to Energizer, rechargeable batteries will never be the same. Now solar power from the sun can help recharge your rechargable batteries. The solar power battery charger by Energizer will keep that old charger out of the wall outlet and you off the power grid. This is the first time I have seen a battery manufacturer trying to go green but it could have been better if it was made from recycled materials.

Not only does the solar charger come with a AC plug but it also comes with a USB adaptor so you can charge it from your PC. The Energizer solar charger is expected to retail for around $50 USD when it hits the market later this year and will be used to recharge battery sizes: AAA and AA.
